INFO~ODBC Direct

Direct needs only a simple, automatic installation of INFO~ODBC on the Windows PC or NT Workstation. Users now select any ODBC enabled application for immediate access to INFO, C-ISAM, DISAM, ARC/INFO coverage, and flat file databases stored locally, or on NT or Unix networked drives. 

This means specialist and non-specialist database users can solve unique problems by selecting the right Windows tool from over 400 programs, e.g., MS-Office, Crystal Reports, Access, Delphi, Visual Basic, MapObjects, etc. 

No configuration or installation changes are required to the source INFO and ARC/INFO databases which may be accessed via INFO~ODBC Direct via existing networks such as NT, Samba or PC-NFS.  All you need is one copy of INFO~ODBC Direct on each Windows Desktop. 

C-ISAM, DISAM, and flat file databases - tables need to be mapped into INFO's schemas first
 

INFO~ODBC Lite

Lite is an entry-level solution for users requiring ODBC access to their INFO, ARC/INFO or host file data at low cost, without the sophisticated transaction and indexing support of the other INFO~ODBC products. It is ideal for applications where high performance and transaction functionality are not required.

INFO~ODBC Server

Our Server product provides a sophisticated "3-tier" solution based on ODBC technology from the market leaders, Simba technologies.  

It is installed along side INFO, C-ISAM, DISAM  files, ARC/INFO on your Host or Server.  Desktop users then connect to the ARC/INFO databases via a super-thin SimbaClient driver (included with INFO~ODBC).  This ensures that the server does the main bulk of processing and provides for central control over data sources.  

Additional client platform support available for JDBC and OLE-DB.  

One INFO-ODBC license is required for every 5 concurrent clients.
